Description
The Osprey Kyte™ 48 in the color Rocky Brook Green is a trekking backpack for women, designed for lightly packed weekend overnight trips and tough, extended day hikes, with an integrated rain cover and LightWire suspension system.
- Suspension system – continuous LightWire frame and Atilon backplate transfer the load to the hip belt, the AirScape™ backpanel provides ventilation, and the back length is adjustable. Recommended carrying weight according to Osprey approx. 9–16 kg
- Rain cover included – stowed in a zippered compartment at the bottom of the backpack
- Compartments – lid with large zippered pocket, mesh zippered pocket with key clip underneath, front slip pocket with stretch mesh, and internal hydration sleeve with Hydraclip
- Sleeping and sleeping pad – height-adjustable sleeping bag compartment with zipper and removable sleeping pad straps
- External attachment – quick-release compression straps at the top with holder for ice axe or trekking poles, two compression straps at the bottom, two daisy chains at the front and double loops for ice tools, plus Stow-on-the-Go attachment for trekking poles
- Straps – shoulder and hip belt made of padded, seamless spacer mesh, sternum strap with signal whistle
Size and fit: The Osprey Kyte™ 48 is available in 2 sizes: WXS/S (approx. 34–43 cm back length) and WM/L (approx. 40.5–50 cm back length), measured from the 7th cervical vertebra to the top edge of the iliac crest (Osprey size chart). Within the size, the back length can be adjusted. This item is size WM/L with 49 l volume. The men's version is called Osprey Kestrel™ 48.
